The Sepecat Jaguar was designed in the 1960s to fulfil the RAF and Armée de l’Air requirement.
Designed as a joint venture between Breguet and British aircraft Corporation, the Jaguar was built to provide an advanced trainer and ground attack aircraft.
The first of 203 Jaguar aircraft entered service with the RAF in 1974.
The aircraft served in various conflicts, including the Gulf war, and remained in service with the RAF until 2007. France, India, Oman, Ecudor and Nigeria all operated Jaguar aircraft.
XX146 is a trainer version of the aircraft which was built in 1974 as a T.2A. The aircraft was updated to a T.4 and based at RAF Coltishall before its retirement in 2005.
